prayers in Islam

Prayers in Islam carry so much significance that these are one of the pillars of Islam. But it is observed that in this overcrowded and busy schedule, people just go with on and off relationship with their prayers which is not satisfying to their religious life.
Under this post, we are presenting some points through which you can create a good prayer routine and lead a peaceful life.

Prayers in Islam

1. Remember the benefits of prayers

As a human, we tend to do things that benefit us. To develop a proper prayer routine for yourself, you need to remind all the benefits you will get in this life and hereafter. Remembering these beneficial aspects will motivate us to get towards Salah on time and reap the benefits at most.

2. Take out time for prayers

If you are going so much busy in your schedule then it is time to rethink and start over again with your daily tasks. You need to slow down the tasks and give your prayers time as it is the time to talk to Allah about all your needs. Indeed, prayers facilitate you to create self-awareness and self-compassion.

3. Make prayer your commitment

Don’t think of prayers as on and off thing and mark your time for each prayer in your work calendar. This marking will remind you about all prayers of a day to perform.

The Holy Quran emphasizes the importance of prayers as:

Establish the Salat from the declining of the sun to the darkness of the night and be particular about the recital of the Quran at dawn for the recital of the Quran at dawn is witnessed.
Chapter 17 Bani Israel verse 78

4. Set prayer spaces

Dedicate a particular place for prayers at home so that it can encourage and invite you for prayer every time. While traveling, you can carry a rug that will ease you to perform Salah wherever you are.

5. Make yourself accountable for prayers

It is obvious that we are accountable for our prayers and we have to give every prayer’s answer to our Almighty Allah. However, to establish a constant routine for prayers, you have to make yourself accountable within your mind. Think as you are not allowed to leave the house until you have performed Fajar prayer while you are not allowed to leave work until dhuhr and asr are done. In the same way, think you can’t go to bed until maghrib and isha are done.

7. It’s never too late to start prayers

Allah is all merciful and knows ourselves better than us. So you just have to try your best and go with your prayers’ journey. You are never too late to start and come close to Almighty Allah. Prayers in Islam really make us closer to our Lord and build an everlasting relation with our Creator.
