Holy Quran says:
“Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [Allah to grant him] peace.”

Allah Almighty orders his creation to send Durood Sharif on Muhammad (SAW) and through Durood Sharif, we ask Allah to award Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) from His Blessings and Serenity. Recitation of Durood Sharif in the light of Hadith
The significance of Durood Sharif is greatly highlighted in Hadiths. Anas (RA) has narrated in Sahih Bukhari:
“None of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father, his children, and all mankind.” (Bukhari)
Undoubtedly, Durood is a great means to get blessings, peace, and prosperity from Almighty Allah. The one who recites Durood Sharif will receive all the benefits of both worlds along with the precious love of the Holy Prophet (SAW).
There are many benefits one gets when reciting Durood pak and one them is the closeness with the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in Jannah:
In Hadith Prophet (SAW) said: “On the Day of Judgment the person closest to me will be the one who has sent the most Durood into me.” (Tirmidhi).
Not just we will get closer to our Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) but every time we recite the Holy Quran, we will be having closeness to Allah Almighty. Reciting Durood Sharif takes us closer to Allah Almighty as we are obeying His command and pleasing Him.
In another Hadith, the Holy Prophet (SAW) said:
“On Friday, send Durood abundantly to me, as it is presented before me.” (Abu Dawud).
So for receiving rewards from Allah Almighty, make sure to recite Durood Sharif on Friday.
The source of Greatest Rewards from Allah:
Almighty Allah rewards ten blessings on the man who recites a Durood. Prophet (PBUH) said in Hadith: “Whoever supplicates Allah to exalt for me, Allah would exalt him ten times.”(Muslim)
Countless blessings:
A person who recites Durood Sharif ten times in the morning and ten times in the evening will receive the help of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) on the Day of Judgment.
Benefits of Reciting Durood Sharif
Acceptance of Supplications:
Durood Sharif is itself a prayer and a source of acceptance of supplications. It is one of the major sources through which Allah accepts all Duas when we send Durood Sharif to Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
It Solves Problems:
If any one of us faces problems and having difficulties then he must recite Durood Sharif countless times. Even if the person is angry, then he should recite Durood as it will get him to peace and will open the sources to solve problems.
Eliminate Poverty and Hunger:
By reciting Durood Sharif, one will get abundant blessings and the recitation will remove his poverty and hunger.

If you forget things then recite Durood Sharif and you will remember the forgotten things.
